Dating app Hinge, for instance, is on the hunt for a VP of artificial intelligence, willing to offer an annual salary of up to $398,000 to steer the app’s AI strategy. Meanwhile, Amazon’s job listing for a senior manager specializing in applied science and generative AI comes with the enticing potential of an annual salary as high as $340,300.

This surge in AI interest extends beyond tech giants to various sectors. Capital One, for instance, has posted an opportunity for a distinguished engineer in generative AI, boasting a competitive salary cap of $325,700. Similarly, Walmart is actively seeking a senior manager for their conversational AI platform, offering potential annual earnings ranging from $168,000 to $252,000.
