In this latest union, Harish Salve tied the knot with Trina, following his previous marriages to Meenakshi, his first wife, and Caroline Brossard in 2020.

Notably, Salve’s marriage to Meenakshi lasted an impressive 38 years before their separation in the year 2020. From their enduring union, they welcomed two daughters into the world, Sakshi and Saaniya, a testament to their long-lasting connection.

Harish Salve, now a 68-year-old legal advocate practicing at the Supreme Court, has made his mark in the legal arena with a series of high-profile cases. One of the most notable cases he took on was the defense of Kulbhushan Jadhav, who faced a death sentence by a Pakistani military court on charges of espionage. Salve’s remarkable gesture included representing Jadhav for a mere ₹1 in legal fees, earning him widespread admiration.

Advocate Salve in year 2015 took up the defense of actor Salman Khan in the infamous hit-and-run case of 2002. Khan, who had previously been sentenced to five years in jail, found redemption when the Bombay High Court acquitted him of all charges related to the 2002 hit-and-run and drunk-and-drive case on December 10, 2015.

A Legacy of Legal Service

Salve’s illustrious career includes serving as the Solicitor General of India from November 1999 to November 2002. In recognition of his legal acumen, he was appointed as the Queen’s Counsel for the courts of Wales and England in January.

Harish Salve’s journey to becoming one of the country’s busiest lawyers began with his pursuit of an LL.B. from Nagpur University. He was first appointed as a senior advocate at the Delhi High Court in 1992 before ascending to the prestigious position of Solicitor General of India.
